在酒展看到“JULIUSSPITAL WÜRZBURG SILVANER TROCKEN 2015” 這瓶酒時, 瓶身讓我一度認為是白蘭地, 後來仔細看後是德國白葡萄酒.
I saw “JULIUSSPITAL WÜRZBURG SILVANER TROCKEN 2015” at the wine show. I once thought that this wine is Brandy instead of Germany White Wine.

來把字全部拆開看吧! JULIUSSPITAL是德國酒莊名稱, WÜRZBURG則是酒莊位於的城市, 希爾瓦那(SILVANER)則是一種德國白葡萄品種, 雖然沒有比麗斯玲 (Riesling) 有名氣, 唯獨在德國法蘭肯產區 (FRANKEN) 的產量遠超過麗斯玲.
Let’s break down the name. JULIUSSPITAL is the winery’s name, which is located at WÜRZBURG city. SILVANER is Germany white grape. Even though it is not as famous as Riesling. But, in FRANKEN area, Silvaner quantity is far more than Riesling.

 

 

酒體顏色透澈但隱約看到青綠色, 香氣帶有點青蘋果風味, 由於是冰的, 壓抑了12.5%的酒精濃度, 雖然有偏高的酸度, 但甜度也非常地明顯, 整體是屬於飽滿酒體. 可惜的是過於記憶點並不高, 也許是因為 Silvaner 並沒有麗斯玲 (Riesling) 顯著的香氣.
The wine body is transparent with hints of light green. The aroma has hints of green apple. Because since it is iced, the ABV isn’t obvious as expected. The acidity and sweetness both are strong. The wine is full-bodied, but it doesn’t have strong aroma or not enough unique like Riesling though.
