義大利葡萄酒 MOSSIERE BAROLO 是在酒展時試喝, 當初試喝也是為了”義大利酒中之王“這個名稱而品飲.
I tried out MOSSIERE BAROLO at the wine event. Honestly, I tasted it because the name “BAROLO”- the king of the red wines.

首先, 需要先提到Nebbiolo葡萄品種, 其實除了義大利產區之外, 連墨西哥,阿根廷和澳洲都有生產. MOSSIERE BAROLO 這款酒則是採用100% 義大利西北方皮蒙特區的Nebbiolo. 法律規定BAROLO不僅要用義大利皮蒙特區的Nebbiolo, 也需要陳年在橡木桶三年.
First of all, Nebbiolo grape is not only cultivated in Italy. It is also cultivated at Mexico, Argentina, and Australia. The winery uses 100% Nebbiolo from Piedmont, Italy. The law states all BAROLO not only need to use 100% Nebbiolo, and also aged in the barrel for at least 3 years.


在展場喝到的BAROLO已醒過, 飽滿的酒體為深紅寶石色帶有點橘色, 有著跟Syrah相似的紫羅蘭香氣, 櫻桃風味取代微弱的皮革香氣, 除了單寧高外, 也較為緊澀, 即使不常喝單寧強勁的酒也不會覺得太刺激味覺.
The wine body is dark ruby color with hints of orange. It has the violet floral aroma similar with Syrah. The cherry flavor covers hints of leather flavor. Besides strong tannin, the taste is dry. However, the strong tannin wont over-stimulate the tastebuds.



其實我覺得MOSSIERE BAROLO較適合單飲而不搭配任何料理, 但是似乎多數人都建議配重風味乳酪或是燉煮牛肉料理.
I personally think that MOSSIERE BAROLO would be better not to pair with any cuisine. But, most people would suggest strong flavor cheese or stewed beef cuisines.
