台北市有相當多的牛肉麵店, 如果是當地人, 通常不會選擇像類似觀光景點的永康街牛肉麵, 通常會選像位於台北東區光復麵館街頭美食. 網路上並無許多相關資料, 也許是因為餐廳改過名稱, 或是其實不想讓這家店曝光, 以免以後要排隊點餐.
There are many beef noodle restaurants in Taipei City. If you are a local, you wont choose Yongkang Street Beef noodle. You would choose nearby delicious noodle shops such as GuangFu Noodle Shop for lunch/dinner. GuangFu Noodle Shop is a great example of hidden gem. I have difficulties finding its actual location online since it changed its name long time ago. The best guess is that locals don’t want this restaurant to be filled up with customers.
麻辣半筋半肉牛肉麵

因為個人喜好麵一上桌習慣會先喝湯, 牛肉湯頭濃烈口感並不會完全被麻辣風味蓋住, 不會讓你覺得好像在喝辣油. 不同於麻膳堂與大師兄銷魂麵,光復麵館是可以選寬麵或細麵, 有些人喜好細麵因為煮後會較軟 粗麵的部分就比較有Q彈. 店家把牛筋的部分燉很軟, 很容易入口即化, 牛肉的部分也煮到會吸收很多牛肉湯的精髓, 配菜部分有基本配備如鴨血和豆腐. 價格較高的麻膳堂則是有豆芽和豆皮. 至於份量的部分, 因為價格才 NTD $120, 女生吃大概會七分飽而已.
The first step when you tasting the beef noodle, you should sip the soup to feel the beef essence. The beef aroma is thick enough, not even the spicy flavor can fully cover. It wont let you feel like you are only drinking the spicy soup.Unlike Mazendo chainstores or Master Spicy Noodle, you can choose thick noodle or thin noodle. People sometimes like thin noodle because they like their noodles soft. But, thick noodle can be delicious too if it is cooked perfectly. Tendon and brisket are both tender enough to absorb enough soup to make those juicy. Different from Mazendo, side ingredients only includes duck blood, tofu, and small amount of green onion. Since the price is only NTD $120, the size isn’t as large as expected.

光復麵館的湯麵Size其實沒有很大碗, 建議點些小菜來搭配麵囉! For side dish options, it have more than expected. Since the noodle bowl size wasn’t large, side dish might be the best choice to fulfill your appetite.
