鳥人拉麵和Honey Pig 韓國烤肉其實都是從美國東部開始打出知名度, 並不是從日本或是韓國 ,這兩家店其實在美國是相當受年輕人喜歡! 兩家餐廳則都是選擇開在年輕人較多的信義區和大安區.
Both Totto Ramen and Honey Pig are actually originated from East Side of USA instead of Japan and Korea. Back in US, both restaurants are quite very popular among young generation.

台灣有少許部落客評論這家拉麵店並不值得排隊, 但是在部落格裡, 他們把這家餐廳跟日本拉麵海外分店做比較, 其實這樣就像把華盛頓蘋果跟富士蘋果相比較. 我則是認為偶爾換一下湯的口味,也許會發現你喜歡的其實是雞湯底.
However, in Taiwan, there are several online food bloggers said that Totto Ramen is not worth the wait. But, from their blogs, they comparing Totto Ramen with authentic Japanese Ramen. It is like compare Washington Apple to Fuji Apple. Both are with their uniqueness.

 

鳥人白湯拉麵 + 半熟蛋

English Name: Original Chicken Paitan Ramen + Soft Boiled Egg
Price: NTD $200 + NTD $30

Remark: “Pai” means white and “tan” means soup. “Paitan” 意思就是白湯.

菜單上有原味, 味增 ,辣味和蔬菜湯底. 客人往往會認為雞湯就是較為清淡, 例如重熙拉麵或是雞湯大叔一樣   , 但是鳥人餐廳的湯底則是用雞骨去熬煮出膠原蛋白讓整個湯底成為白色且濃厚, 但是卻不會像豬骨湯底如此地膩跟死鹹,  鳥人白湯拉麵則是有基本拉麵該有的基本配料- 海苔脆片和鮮綠青蔥做點綴, 白麵和燒烤後嫩豬肉五花吸滿湯汁的精華, 半熟蛋的部份則是要另外加點, 價格為30元, 吃完這碗拉麵會讓你對拉麵有新的見解和感受. 如果下次有機會應該會去品嚐其他風味的拉麵.
There are several options on the menu – original, miso, spicy, vegetarian..etc. People might think that chicken soup ramen is light, for example Chongxi Ramen and Broth Master. But after taking the first slurp, the soup base becomes rich and creamy due to the chicken bone collagen. Just imagine chicken noodle soup enriched version （without milk of course) !! However, it isn to as thick and salty as the pork bone soup base. This dish has the standard crispy seaweed and green onion garnish. But, you would need to order the soft-boiled egg for $30. Both noodle and the tender BBQ pork absorb the soup essence well. It was easy to finish eating this dish in less than 20 minutes. I will try their types of broth next time.
