作者為知名高級食材產品經理 The author is a well-known Product Manager of High-End Ingredients
日本籍丸岡武司 2007 年在樂天購物平台上創辦 “夢幻食材室” , 這家電商依舊熬過全球經濟衰退時期 (2007 年 ~ 2008年 ). 這家電商店面販售是高級歐洲食材, 只賣歐洲眾所皆知價位頗高的品牌. 丸岡武司為了瞭解這些夢幻食材, 去拜訪每個名牌的製造工廠, 讓這本書比 Google Wiki 更值得信任.
Japanese author established a online shop regarding high-end ingredient at Japan Rakuten platform during the year of 2007. This online shop sells high-end exclusive well-known brands of European food ingredients.In order to understand and know more about the products, the author visits each manufacturers’ factory. So, this book is more trust-worthy than Google.
這本書不單是目錄 This is not just a catalogue
我當初買是因為我認爲這是一本高級食材的目錄, 初次閱讀時並沒有很仔細看內容, 後來去 “J-Deli” (短秒影片) 看到許多義大利食材, 我決定再次閱讀這本書, 才發現原來作者丸岡武司將每個品牌不一樣的地方皆有寫在書本裡, 讓這本書不只是一本目錄.
At the beginning, I thought this book is a high-end ingredient brand catalogue. At the first reading, I didn’t read this book thoroughly. After visiting “J-Deli” (short video down below) to see so many European ingredients, I realize that I would need to review this book for 2nd time. At the 2nd reading, I found out that the author actually points out clearly the difference between each brand.
缺點是沒有簡單易懂的中英文對照 The down side is that it does not have a simple brand name Chinese/English translation Sheet
因為文字是直式而非橫式, 英文也調整變成直式, 閱讀有些困難. 第二次閱讀時發現中文名稱皆是較大的Size, 而英文名稱是小型英文草寫字體, 閱讀也需要一些時間. 由於沒有簡單易懂的中英文對照, 需要自己將英文字寫成正楷才能看得較順暢, 不太方便.
Because the Chinese words are vertical, the English words become vertical as well. It is not easy to read. Also, the Chinese name is in bigger size. But, the English font is in small shape with hand-written style. It is not easy to understand if you are not familiar with English.
