印象中的客家菜是像“閤家小館”合菜, 台北中山捷運站美食之一的“六堆伙房”則是定位在一個人跟家庭聚會皆可吃客家菜料理.
Most Hakka cuisine size is large portion, which is perfect for family gathering (For example: Ho-Gia Hakka Restaurant). 6 D Kitchen, which is near Taipei Zhongshan MRT station, is designed for smaller portion. It would be perfect for party of 2 or less to enjoy the Hakka cuisine.

沿著有客家印花裝飾的樓梯, 走進地下一樓的”六堆伙房”, 有著適合兩人座跟六人座沙發區, 部分小菜放在冷藏櫃裡自取. 看了菜單後, 發現除了客家菜傳統的油鹹酸香菜餚外, 似乎多了一些創意客家料理.
Following the stairs to the basement, 6 D Kitchen has comfortable sofa seating section. Several appetizers are placed at the refrigerator for customers to take. Besides the typical Hakka cuisine type (oily, salty and sour) , there are also several creative Hakka cuisines.

花生豆腐

English Name: Peanut Tofu

當看到“花生豆腐”這道菜餚名稱, 本來以為是花生口味的豆腐, 米白色且表面光滑像極了豆花, 上方佐了些花生醬, 其實是花生代替黃豆, 與在來米一起製作, 是台灣屏東六堆著名的客家菜, 似乎隱喻老闆是台灣屏東六堆人, 所以才取名叫做六堆伙房.
When seeing the name “Peanut Tofu”, I would think of Peanut Flavor Tofu. However, instead, the soybean is placed with peanuts and rice. The appearance of Tofu color is silky and snowy white. The sauce on the top is peanut flavor sauce. It is one of the famous Hakka dishes at Pingtung, which is located at Southern Taiwan.

 

 

切下一小口花生豆腐時, 發現其結構紮實, 但是卻不會像板豆腐般如此粗糙. 雖然底部的蒜蓉醬味道濃郁, 但不會將豆腐的濃郁花生風味蓋住, 細緻的口感讓人覺得在吃奶酪, 美味程度不在話下, 是一道非常值得品嚐的料理.
Slicing the peanut tofu, the texture is dense but silky. Even though the garlic soy sauce at the bottom is salty, but it doesn’t cover the strong peanut flavor and aroma. The silky texture would make you feel like you are eating Panna Cotta. This is an absolutely delicious dish.

 

冰客家擂茶

English Name: Iced Lei-Cha (Ground Tea).

擂茶的“”代表是研磨, 請想像在日本豬排店會讓饕客自己研磨黑白芝麻的畫面, 擂茶則是讓客人自行研磨花生, 芝麻,玄米與茶葉. 看似綠茶的冰擂茶裡, 有著少許烘烤日本米菓顆粒, 本來以為風味會跟抹茶一樣是苦, 但冰客家擂茶則是溫和的玄米風味為主導, 冰塊則是稍微稀釋擂茶的濃郁.
Lei-Cha is the traditional Hakka Tea. “Lei” means grind, which is the similar process as grinding coffee. People would need to grind peanut, sesame, brown rice and tea leafs in order to make Lei-Cha. The green color Lei-Cha has several baked nuts inside. The taste isn’t bitter like green tea. The flavor is dominated by the brown rice flavor and aroma.

 

鹹蛋絲瓜麵線

English Name: Salted Egg thin Noodles with Luffa
Price: NTD $108

金黃色的鹹蛋風味湯頭搭配青綠色的絲瓜切片讓人好奇此種搭配品嚐起來會是哪種風味. 毫不吝嗇地勺一口湯, 雖然湯頭稍微稀釋, 但仍舊有微微的鹹蛋黃風味 (如圖), 細麵線稍微過於軟但仍舊吸汁, 即使絲瓜吸收了少許鹹蛋湯底, 但不會過軟, 是一道蠻特別的品嚐經驗.
The golden color of the soup is stewed with the salty egg yolk (as picture). It The soup pairs with the soft luffa, which is only common in Asia. Even though the soup base is not thick, but still has hints of salty egg yolk aroma. The thin noodle texture is soft and can absorb the soup well. The luffa can stay soft even after absorbing the soup. It is quite a special tasting experience.
