About Lao Dong Bei Restaurant Taipei
老東北家鄉特色菜料理餐廳地址為台北市中山區民權東路一段12巷13號1樓, 介於中山國小站2號出口與民權西路捷運站8號出口中間, 餐廳外面掛著“東北菜”與“北韓菜”大紅燈籠高高掛, 很難在巷弄裡錯過. 餐廳不大座位不多, 所以需要打電話訂位 (02-2541-2626 ),我們有八位, 坐大圓桌. 這家餐廳非常有名因為老闆本身就是中國東北人, 而且菜單上不只有台灣人熟悉的酸菜白肉鍋, 而是有許多具有特色的東北菜餚, 例如-東北鍋包肉,小雞燉蘑菇 ..etc. 以下的推薦排行榜基本上是我個人喜好.
Lao Dong Bei Restaurant Address is No. 13, 12th Lane, 1st Section, Minquan East Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei City. It is in between Zhongshan Elementary School MRT station and Minquan West Road MRT station. You cannot miss the two large red lanterns hanging at the restaurant appearance. There aren’t much seats. So, You would need to call to reserve (02-2541-2626). We have 8 people, so, we sit at the large round table. The chef/owner is originated from North Eastern of China. The menu has more than just pickled cabbage hot pot. The following dish recommendation rank list is just my preference. Some people might think otherwise.

這是一道東北經典家常菜,酸菜有脆口感, 酸度不會過於尖銳, 是台灣人可以接受的酸度, 在品嚐的同時, 豬肉片也帶給味蕾微鹹香, 整體不會油膩, 而且不錯吃, 可惜我們沒有點白飯, 倒是可以將菜餚夾進東北老麵饅頭搭配吃.如果你沒有點酸菜白肉鍋, 建議可點這道酸菜粉絲炒肉.
This is a classic cuisine. The fermented cabbage has crispy texture. The acidity is not too sharp, which most Taiwanese would like. While tasting, the pork slice would bring small amount of salty flavor to the tastebuds. Overall, it is not too oily and quite delicious. If you didn’t order the pickled cabbage hot pot, you can order this dish.

犇羴鱻水餃內餡沒有羊肉, 內餡其實是鱈魚, 牛肉與豬肉, 內餡在咬下去時頗多肉汁, 辛香料與韭黃並不會蓋住肉香, 並不會有魚肉的鮮味, 而且水餃不用多沾醬油就完全可以撐得住場面, 他們的水餃外皮有彈性且不軟爛, 是我喜歡的水餃類型. 你如果不確定你喜不喜歡水餃內餡, 建議點10個水餃 (NTD $100) , 兩人分享.
This dumpling filling is cod, beef and pork. The filling is juicier than expected. The spices and chives flavors didn’t cover the meaty flavor. However, I didn’t taste much of the fish flavor. The dumpling tastes quite flavorful. Their dumpling appearance/sheet is quite delicious too since it is not too moist/wet. If you are not sure if you are going to like this flavor, I would suggest you to order 10 units (NTD $100) to share with your friends.

在吃之前有聞到糖醋香味 , 我就想著 “這不就是油炸糖醋排骨?”, 油炸外層酥脆不濕軟, 糖醋醬微勾芡, 帶給味蕾適量糖醋風味, 無骨豬後腿肉並沒有預期地嫩, 可是整體來說, 點這道菜算是嚐鮮, 畢竟這道東北菜餚在台北比較少見.
Before eating, I can smell the sweet and sour flavor. It is quite similar with the sweet and sour flavored pork rib dish. The fried appearance is crispy and tasty along with small amount sweet and sour sauce. However, the pork filling is not as tender as expected. Overall, you can order to taste different types of dishes from another unfamiliar area.

老東北家鄉特色菜料理餐廳的老麵饅頭 Size 頗大, 建議與朋友們對分, 吃起來有嚼勁, 且非常容易吸汁, 東北老麵饅頭在台北比較少見, 至於要搭配哪些菜餚可自行決定, 我個人是搭酸菜粉絲炒肉與京醬肉絲.
The size of the steamed bun is quite large. So, I would suggest to share with friends. The texture is interesting and easy to absorb sauce. I would suggest to pair with the Stir-Fried Pork with Pickled Cabbage and Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce.

經典東北涼拌菜, 辣香十足, 很適合吃辣的人. 我個人是只吃小辣.
This cold beef tripe appetizer dish is suitable for people who love spicy food. I only eat mild spicy food only.
東北地三鮮

我原本以為這道東北地三鮮是像台灣人常吃的海鮮與肉的三鮮料理, 孰不知這一道其實是“地三鮮” – 有青椒,馬鈴薯與茄子, 基本上是一道素菜, 吃起來確實有些油膩, 我個人覺得還好, 但是到東北餐廳不點東北傳統菜色似乎說不過去.
This dish has three simple ingredients – Green Pepper, Sautéed Potato and eggplant. It is a vegetarian dish. It tastes a bit oily. Overall, it is average. But, since it is their signature dish, you might still want to order to try it.

剛上桌時, 又薄又長外型讓我誤認為寬麵, 實際上是最近台灣開始紅的千張, 東北稱為乾豆腐. 適量勾芡造就古溜口感, 蠔油調味雖然有些單調, 但是很適合搭配白飯.
I mistake the dried tofu sheet as noodle. The overall flavor is a bit bland along with the smooth texture.
京醬肉絲

搭配的是豆皮, 我個人還是比較喜歡搭餅皮, 但是肉絲倒是可以拿來搭配山東饅頭.
It pairs with the dried tofu sheet. I personally prefer the pastry sheet. The shredded pork pairs good with the steamed bun.

我是在那天用餐才知道原來韭菜花在東北盛產, 因此有這道東北家常菜, 看似蔥油餅的扁平外表, 風味請想像將蔥換成韭菜, 我個人覺得表現平平.
The appearance looks like green onion pancake. The overall taste is average.

香料多很入味, 只是豬腳的Q度頗高, 比較不適合我.
There are lots of spices. The pork knuckle is not really my type, which is a bit chewy.
小雞燉蘑菇

這道小雞燉蘑菇是老東北家鄉特色菜料理餐廳的招牌菜,雞肉偏硬, 這道最特別的食材是東北蘑菇, 具有濃郁香氣, 可能因為我本身對有勾芡湯頭並不是很嚮往 (除了酸辣湯之外) , 也有可能是湯裡有燉馬鈴薯塊, 整體吃起來感覺有點像芋頭在湯頭, 頗為混濁. 我個人覺得表現平平.
This soup is the restaurant’s signature dish. The chicken is a bit hard to eat. The most special part would be the mushroom from China, which has thick earthy aroma. It also has stewed potato inside the broth. The overall taste is average.

建議四人來, 記得要訂位. 如果是我帶朋友來, 若不點酸菜白肉鍋, 我會建議點
