About Golden Chicken Ranch Restaurant Dongmen
好公道金雞園餐廳在台北東門站5號出口附近, 直接沿著永康街經過公園即可看到, 餐廳有兩層樓, 基本上一樓就是開放式廚房, 中式江浙點心放在一樓展示吸引路人, 走到二樓發現用餐空間頗大, 我跟朋友則是選陽台座位區. 我知道這家餐廳是因為金雞園與 “鼎泰豐”一樣皆榮獲米其林必比登推薦, 這裡也很適合帶外國旅客來因為菜單有英文日文與韓文.
Hao Gong Dao Jin Ji Yuan Restaurant (Golden Chicken Ranch Restaurant ) is located near Exit 5 of Dongmen MRT station. There are total 2 floors. The first floor is open kitchen with Chinese pastry. The dining area and patio are at 2nd floor. How do I know this restaurant? Because it is one of the restaurants on BIB GOURMAND GUIDE.

金雞園小籠包一籠共 8 個, 一個平均是 NTD $17.50, 比 “鼎泰豐” NTD $22/個 便宜. 外型的摺雖然沒有鼎泰豐多且細緻, 皮也沒有過厚, 內餡肉汁很多, 而且不用再沾醬就不錯吃. 我個人推薦金雞園小籠包.
The dish has 8 pieces. which is NTD $17.50/pcs. It is of course cheaper than “Din Tai Fung”. restaurant. However, the steamed dumpling appearance is not delicate. The pork filling is quite juicy. I don’t need to dip into the sauce to eat. I would prefer the non-dip type to enjoy the food. I would definitely recommend Jin Ji Yuan ( Golden Chicken Ranch Restaurant ) steamed pork dumpling.

重酥蔥餅

一個重酥蔥餅是 NTD $25/餅. 先咬了一口, 內餡有著濃郁青蔥香味, 鹹香風味不錯吃, 層次頗多, 而且重酥蔥餅整體不會過乾, 我個人也蠻推薦這道重酥蔥餅.
The onion pastry is NTD $25/each. The thick green onion aroma fulfills the mouth while eating. There are layers along with salty flavor. Overall, this pastry is not dry. I personally like and recommend this pastry.

老實說, 好公道金雞園的三鮮麵跟我想得完全不ㄧ樣, 這次我跟朋友吃的三鮮麵則是有肉絲, 豬肝與蝦米, 可惜我本來就吃比較少豬肝, 這一道的份量很適量, 蠻適合上班族當午餐吃.
Honestly, this noodle is different from what I thought. For example, I didn’t consider the pig liver as one of the ingredients. Too bad that I didn’t enjoy much of the viscera though. The quantity is fair amount. It is quite suitable for Business Lunch.
