(2022.11 Update) Where to buy the best scone at Taipei City? Most people would answer Ciao Ciao Good Food. You can dine-in or buy the scones to-go. It is also one of the afternoon tea places near Huashan Creative Park Restaurant and Cafe.

悄悄好食目前有兩家分店, 一家在永康街附近, 另一家則在善導寺站附近, 我則是去過已歇業的 “悄悄黑眼圈”. 悄悄好食杭州舖位於善導寺捷運站四號出口附近, 與 “ 以馬內利鮮魚湯 ”在同一條巷弄內, 室內裝潢和室外裝潢皆非常文青, 座位頗多, 甚至有像 “興波咖啡Simple Kaffa 旗艦店” 的長桌,另一家知名的深深飯糰則是在 B1. 在工作檯可看到司康製作過程, 烤好的司康香氣更是噗鼻而來, 多種口味會讓人有選擇障礙! 悄悄好食杭州舖菜單項目多, 除了司康, 茶和咖啡外, 也有可頌, 悄悄好食也可以是台北早午餐餐廳選擇之一.
Ciao Ciao Good Food now has two branches. One is near YongKang Street, and other store is located near Shandao Temple MRT station. Ciao Ciao is located at the same lane as the “Taipei Fish Soup Food Booth” near Exit 4 of Shandao Temple MRT station. Both indoor and outdoor decoration is very IG friendly. There are lots of seats. You can also see the staffs making the scones at the counter. The aroma of the finished-bake scone is around the room. There are quite a lot of scone flavor options. Besides scones, there are tea, coffee, croissant. Ciao Ciao Good Food can also be one of the Taipei Brunch Restaurant options.

分不清比司吉與司康的差別? 最簡單的記憶方式是比司吉 (Biscuit)是在 KFC或是 “Buttermilk 餐廳” 吃的,司康 (Scone) 是在 “Smith & Hsu” 吃的. 我那時點的是司康兩顆套餐, 當天的果醬是藍莓與杏桃. 我蠻驚訝鮮奶油除了置放於一旁外, 也將鮮奶油當作司康內餡,熱騰騰的司康品嚐起來表層酥脆, 有著類似烘烤重蛋糕 (Pound Cake) 的迷人香味, 太妃糖的甜度早已融入司康裡, 鮮奶油內餡與核桃勾勒出奶香與堅果香並存的風味, 我個人喜歡堅果系列司康, 但是我會建議鮮奶油不要事先加進內餡裡.
You can’t tell the difference between scones and biscuits? No worries, the better way to remember is – You can eat the biscuits at KFC or “Buttermilk Restaurant”. You can eat the scones at “Smith & Hsu”. I ordered the double scones set. The jams are blueberry and apricot. I am surprised to see that the cream is also inside of the scones. The hot scones appearance is crispy and full of pound cake buttery aroma. The Toffee sweet is already inside of the scones. Both cream filling and walnuts show milky and nutty flavor at the same time. I personally like nutty flavor scones. But, I would suggest not to add the whipped cream inside the filling prior serving.

芋頭放鬆司康

放鬆司康系列其實就是司康裡有內餡, 當天早上剛好有他們招牌芋頭司康, 毫不猶豫點來吃, 其芋頭內餡與 “JJ BAKERY-IRVINE” 的芋頭酥一樣好吃, 芋頭內餡打得很濃稠綿密, 並沒有顆粒口感, 整體吃起來有經典芋頭香氣 額外的鮮奶油內餡和果醬似乎有些多餘. 我個人很推薦這款芋頭放鬆司康, 但是我會建議單點司康, 而不是附加奶油和果醬的套餐.
The taro filling is as delicious as the taro pastry at “JJ BAKERY-IRVINE”. The taro filling is moist and soft texture with thick taro flavor. However, extra cream filling and the jams are seemed to be unnecessary? I would suggest to order single scone without any cream and jam.

照理說, 吃英式司康應該要搭配茶, 但是我還是選擇點咖啡. 這杯咖啡喝起來搭配那兩款司康有點搶走司康光彩, 讓味蕾增加些許負擔, 我會建議點茶來搭配.
Eating scones should pair with tea. But, I still select coffee. This coffee’s heavy flavor covers some of the scones delicious flavor. I would suggest you to pair with tea.
