產品名稱裡的”Witte” 也就是”Witbier”, 法文則是 “Witbier”, 英文是”White Beer”. 最有名的白啤酒品牌則是Hoegaarden 豪格登.  跟其他類型的啤酒不一樣, 海夫力啤酒原料採用混合淺色大麥麥芽,小麥麥芽與未發芽小麥, 此外,跟其他國際知名品牌不同, 海夫力啤酒堅持在比利時製造,  因此有”起源與釀造皆在比利時“的標語.

倒出霧矇矇金黃色啤酒, 混濁的原因為白啤酒通常是未過濾, 啤酒泡沫為蓬鬆但不長久, 啤酒裡則是滿滿果香味, 喝下第一口有明顯地柑橘風味, 並無察覺辛香或其他來自啤酒花的風味, 直到最後一口才會有微苦的感覺. 如果跟Leffe Blonde比較(雖然是不同類型), 海夫力小麥啤酒較為遜色, 只因為並無多層次的啤酒風味.
When pouring out, the blonde beer body is hazy due to the unfiltered process. The foam at first is fluffy but doesn’t last long. You would smell hint of fruity aroma. While tasting the first gulp, the obvious orange flavor appears at the tastebud. But, it is difficult to detect any spice or any other strong flavor from the hops. There is only a hint of bitterness at the end. Comparing with Leffe Blonde, Heverlee Witte is a much weaker beer considering layers of flavors.
