雞二拉麵為大安區新開幕的拉麵美食之一, 位於台北遠企附近和辦公室林立的巷弄內. 值得一提的是雞二拉麵並不是日本海外分店.
Unlike other Ramen restaurants, G2 Ramen is NOT a oversea branch from Japan. This restaurant is established by Taiwanese that is familiar with local consumers’ preference.
當天的溫度較低, 是個吃拉麵的好日子, 下午就到新開幕的雞二拉麵“排隊”, 原因是下午2:30pm ~ 5pm 有提供限量30碗雞白湯系列拉麵, 這次並不是限量吸引我, 純粹是招牌的雞二系列拉麵我吃不完也不想打包!, 餐廳內的座位大概只有12 ~ 13位環繞著開放式廚房, 入口右邊有一台可點餐的機器 , 可自行按想要的餐點.
When the weather is right, I decided to go to G2 Ramen in the afternoon for their chicken broth ramen instead of their signature ramen. Plus, the restaurant only offers 30 limited quantity of chicken broth from 2:30pm ~ 5pm. When entering the restaurant, there are approx. 13 seats with open kitchen. There is a ordering machine on the right hand side and you can select the ramen just like in Japan.

下午提供的雞白湯系列有分野菜和蝦醬, 雞白湯系列搭配的是細麵, 雞二系列則是寬麵. 蝦醬雞白湯頭呈金黃色, 老闆之前有提到他們是用真正的雞去熬煮, 跟重熙老麵ㄧ樣都不是雞湯濃縮汁, 或是像一蘭要將空運調理包來台灣, 所以人力和食材成本較高, 只能做“限量”!. 此系列的湯底比麵屋真登濃, 比鳥人拉麵淡, 但是湯頭本身為鮮醇, 把浮在表面上具有濃厚香氣的蝦油一起混合後, 湯頭具有不同層次的口感, 味蕾依然可以嚐到雞湯的清甜. 麵跟其他基本配備則是達到該有的水平.
Unlike their Signature G2 Ramen, this dish is slightly smaller. The broth color is bright yellow. According to the restaurant, they cook actual real chickens to make broth instead of condensed chicken broth. By looking at the soup color, the taste buds is actually expecting a thick soup base similar with Totto Ramen.Somehow, the broth turns out a bit light but still tasty. After mixing the shrimp sauce, the soup flavor becomes complex instead of completely covering the original chicken broth. The cooked noodle is in good condition and absorbs the broth with just right amount. However, the chicken meat is not juicy but in average quality.
