網路上有很多關於歐美啤酒的資訊, 但是除了Asahi, Stout和虎牌啤酒, 較少有關亞洲啤酒, 就如日本當地品牌輕井澤高原啤酒.
When you research beers on the internet or app, there are usually lots of informations about USA and European beers. There isn’t much information about Asia beers except Asahi, Stout, and Tiger beer. Consumers usually have limited knowledges about local brands, such as Japanese brand Karuizawa.

我大約是在十月於臺灣好市多購買2016夏季限定禮盒, 換算大約每瓶台幣$67, 其實在好市多通路是有點貴, 但是誰能抗拒“限定”這兩個字？喝過後發現啤酒的品質和口感都很值得
Even though the beer is 2016 Summer Limited Edition, I actually purchased at Taiwan Costco during October.  Honestly,  $147 per can is a bit expensive in Costco sales channel. But hey, it is “limited edition”. Surprisingly, the quality and taste is worth it.

淡啤酒 Light beer

台啤部份的麥芽成分被稻米代替,  美國啤酒的則是部份用玉米代替, 如同歐洲品牌, 輕井澤高原啤酒則是用全麥芽釀造而成, 喝起來口感滑順且有濃厚的香氣. 此外, 平常不太喝酒的人也可以嘗試此低酒精濃度的啤酒.
Taiwanese beers’ partial malt ingredient was substituted with rice. USA beers’ partial malt ingredient was replaced with corn. Similar with European beers, Karuizawa brand use all-malt ingredients. But unlike German beer, the beer tastes like pale ale with rich aroma. With low ABV, people with low alcohol tolerance can taste it without getting uncomfortable.

啤酒成分裡的水成分很重要 Water is important

許多人不知道其實水的品質會影響到啤酒的品質,  輕井澤高原啤酒則是使用淺間山的清流, 再加上精挑細選的麥芽與啤酒花釀造出此款特別啤酒.
Most people don’t know that water quality plays a big role during brewing process. Karuizawa brand (Yo-Ho Breawing company) uses meltwater from the Asamayama mountain. Besides, they also use selected malt and hops from the Asamayama mountain.
