📣 “Thank you for the house party invitation! It was so  memorable with perfect taste!”.

The hostess is an exceptional chef who designs her house party feast menus without sparing any expense. I feel a little guilty even calling it a “home feast” since I didn’t bring a single dish . Every course was prepared entirely by her. I truly believe her lifestyle is one that many people admire and aspire to.

Binchotan charcoal–grilled without a metal grate. The gizzards are grilled to about 90% doneness, delivering excellent crunch without toughness. The scallion sauce is well executed too. If the overall set is too much for you, you can order two dishes in À la carte menu.

這次二訪發現餐廳多了“自助點菜機器” , 就像日式拉麵店

江牛樓一樓吧台旁有一個小黑板. 二訪時, 朋友點了台灣鴨胸佐金桔醬 (NTD $150) . 份量適合兩人分享. 菜餚的呈盤極具西式 Fine Dining 風格,視覺優雅. 炙燒後的鴨皮酥脆口感與美味讓人回味無窮. 金桔佐醬添增了不同酸香層次風味與台灣風格. 我吃過不算少的西式鴨胸菜餚 , 江牛樓的炙燒鴨胸是前三名. 推薦點!

Next to the bar counter or of Kougyurou, there is a small blackboard. On my second visit, my friend ordered the Taiwanese Duck Breast with Kumquat Sauce (NTD $150). The portion is ideal for sharing between two people.The plating is Western fine-dining style, which is elegant and visually attractive. The seared duck skin is wonderfully crisp and flavorful, leaving a lasting impression. The kumquat sauce adds a bright, citrusy acidity that introduces layered flavors with a subtle Taiwanese touch.I have tried quite a number of Western-style duck breast dishes. Kougyurou’s seared duck breast easily ranks in my top three. Highly recommended.

台灣人可以為了美食而排隊 1 小時 , 尤其是拉麵店. 也很多人為了預約困難的餐廳而願意付一筆 「 訂位費 」.

📣 江牛樓內用登記SOP

現場先排隊 , 11am 開始登記 -> 登記後即可離開. 建議到大稻埕逛逛 -> 我個人是建議15 分鐘提前報到. 提前到有時候可以提前進去吃.

推薦  江牛樓 的三個理由

✅ 吃牛肉麵前有 Appetizer

✅ 湯頭與牛肉皆特優等級

第一口反而類似日本醬油拉麵的帶有肉香的昆布醬油湯頭. 牛骨經長時間熬煮後, 注入些許台灣牛肉麵的元素. 最後日籍主廚再撒上花椒多一層香氣.主廚選用肉香豐富的美國牛肉

✅ 同時可品嚐刀削麵與細麵

我建議吃到最後, 刻意保留一些湯汁 , 再跟店員說要免費追加麵. 我當時是選粗麵 , 之後再加點細麵

📣 Dine-in Registration starts at 11:00 AM -> You may leave after registering. I suggest exploring Dadaocheng -> Personally, I recommend checking in 15 minutes early. Arriving early sometimes allows for an earlier seating.

Three Reasons to Recommend Kougyurou

✅ Appetizers served before the beef noodles

✅ Delicious broth and beef:

The first sip reveals a kombu-soy sauce base reminiscent of Japanese shoyu ramen, enriched with meat aromas. After long-simmering beef bones, Taiwanese beef noodle elements are infused. The chef adds a layer of aroma with Sichuan peppercorns. The chef selects flavorful American beef.

✅ Taste both sliced (thick) and thin noodles at once

I suggest saving some broth toward the end and asking the staff for a free portion of noodles. I chose thick noodles initially and added thin noodles later.
