近年信義新光三越招募相當多不同餐系的新餐廳, 但似乎都有一個共通點, 酒單上不在上孤苦伶仃的 2 ~ 3 款酒, 而是一本厚重酒單, 光是信義新光三越A9 有厚重酒單的餐廳就有 “小後苑 Backyard Jr.” , “橘色涮涮屋”和 “Wildwood Live Fire Cuisine Restaurant”. 橘色涮涮屋酒吧是與 Abrazo Bistro 合作, 而且酒吧是在餐廳外, Wildwood 酒吧則是在餐廳內, 而且喝酒戶外座位可欣賞 101 大樓, 寬敞庭院如同歐美頂樓酒吧, 座位上方有屋簷更是不用怕下雨. 唯獨需要注意一點就是因為餐廳 3pm 清場, 4pm 才會正式拉開布簾, 若是提早到, 建議先到附近的百貨公司逛逛.
There are various new restaurants at XINYI SHINKONG MITSUKOSH Department stores. And most new restaurants no longer only have 2 or 3 alcohols on the list. For example, “Backyard Jr.” , “Orange Shabu Shabu” and “Wildwood Restaurant” has a long alcohols list for customers to choose. “Orange Shabu Shabu” cooperated with Abrazo Bistro. But, Wildwood Restaurant has its own bar inside the restaurant. The customer can look at Taipei 101 view at its outdoor seats. The dining atmosphere is a bit like New York Rooftop Bar. Please note that the restaurant re-opens at 4pm for its Happy Hour. It is closed during 3pm ~ 4pm.

我是星期五去 Wildwood Happy Hour, 當天優惠是買一杯調酒免費送一杯調酒. Hennessy Sunset 調酒一杯是 NTD $380, 所以優惠折扣後是 一杯 NTD $190 (尚未加服務費). 若不確定自己會不會喜歡調酒風味, 可直接請 Bartender 大致上形容風味即可. 這款暖橘色調酒裡放著一片代表夕陽的風乾柳橙片, 再加入薄荷, 薑汁汽水,苦精 (Bitters), 最主要酒體是全球知名的軒尼詩 V.S.O.P.干邑白蘭地. 第一口很明顯可感受到薄荷口感, 剛開始冰塊降低白蘭地的高酒精濃度, 加強整杯調酒的清新度, 經過一段時間後, 則是白蘭地搶回味蕾的主導權, 這時的酒香與濃醇才是我個人較偏好的調酒類型. 這杯調酒比較適合可純飲威士忌或是白蘭地的人, Wildwood Happy Hour 與 “IL MERCATO TAIPEI 101 “ 皆相當適合與朋友在午後小酌.
I visited Wildwood Happy Hour on Friday. The promotion would be buy one specific cocktail and get another specific cocktail for free. If you are not familiar with the cocktail, you can always the bartender to describe the flavor for you. This dried orange slice represents the sunset. The main base is world-wide famous Hennessy. At the beginning, mint, ginger ale, bitters brings refreshing taste to this particular drink. However after a while, the high ABV kicks and thick texture kicks in, which is my preference. This cocktail is suitable for people that are able to drink Whiskey or Brandy. Both Wildwood Happy Hour and “IL MERCATO TAIPEI 101” are suitable to bring friends to have drinks in the afternoon.
