Where to buy a slice pizza in Taipei? The Slice Shop Pizza is a usual recommendation among foodies. They have two locations: Xinyi Anhe and Tianmu. After numerous visits to the Tianmu branch, I have my own Pizza ranking.

The Slice Shop 的優缺點

The Slice Shop Pro and Con

The Slice Shop 有兩家分店:

信義安和店: 臺北市大安區安和路二段69巷18號一樓
天母店:臺北市士林區德行西路19號
**Remark: The Slice Shop 有販售單片/ 12” 吋 Pizza / 20 “ 吋 Pizza . 內用皆是站著吃.

站著吃, 不能訂位, 販售單片都是優點 . 天母店的桌子是面對牆壁. 最多就是附近上班族 4 ~ 6 人站著吃. 通常都是每人一片 Pizza 與一杯飲料 , 而且不會佔太多空間 , 因為他們喜歡面對面聊天. 不能訂位則是先到先 serve. 並不會有熟客的問題. 台灣人對排隊點餐已經習慣.

礙於展示櫃與烤箱容量 , 菜單上的 Pizza 種類並不能太多. 這個也不算缺點. 應該沒有人像我, 會在短時間 N 訪.

The Slice Shop has two branches:
Xinyi Anhe Store: 1F., No. 18, Lane 69, Section 2, Anhe Road, Da’an District, Taipei
Tianmu Store: No. 19, Dexing West Road, Shilin District, Taipei
**Remark:The Slice Shop offers pizza by the slice, 12-inch whole pizzas, and 20-inch whole pizzas.

It is standing room only. There is no seating and no reservations. Selling by the slice is actually one of its biggest advantages.

At the Tianmu branch, the counter tables face the wall. Most customers are nearby office workers, usually groups of 4–6 people standing while eating. Typically, each person orders one slice and one drink. They don’t take up much space, as they prefer chatting face-to-face.

Since reservations are not allowed, it is strictly first come first-served. There is no issue with regulars taking priority. Taiwanese customers are already accustomed to lining up to order.

Due to the limited display case and oven capacity, the menu cannot offer too many pizza varieties. But this is not really a drawback. Probably no one visits as frequently as I do within a short period of time.

The Slice Shop 販售的是紐約式的薄餅酸種披薩. 辣楓糖培根 Pizza 是許多人到 The Slice Shop 的必點. 光是名稱就讓人有食慾. 同時感受楓糖誘人甜香與培根辛鹹味. 辣椒籽除了有視覺感, 更是帶給味蕾刺激感.吃小辣的人也可以品嚐. 美味且多層次風味是喜歡Pizza 愛好者的終極目標.
The Slice Shop specializes in New York style thin crust sourdough pizza.
Hot Maple Bacon Pizza is a must-order item for many customers. The name alone is mouthwatering. You can simultaneously enjoy the seductive sweetness of maple syrup and the savory saltiness of bacon. Chili not only adds visual appeal but also provide a pleasant kick. Even those who prefer mild spice can enjoy it.Delicious and layered flavors are the ultimate goals for pizza lovers.

 

 

魯本辣牛 Pizza

提到經典德國酸菜（Sauerkraut）, 我過往的印象是”偏鹹又偏酸”. 因此在 The Slice Shop 點的時候是持有 “大不了就挑掉” 的想法. 沒想到，這款淺色德國酸菜的表現遠超預期, 風味乾淨而平衡.

入口後層次分明. 來自辣油的辛香, 德國酸菜賦予的微酸, 俄羅斯醬（Russian Sauce）中的美乃滋質地則增添圓潤與滑順. 店家自製的燻牛肉反而成為配角.

“WOW” 是我吃第一口的感受. 如果你可以接受酸度與中辣, 這一款 魯本辣牛 Pizza 很適合你 .

When it comes to classic German sauerkraut, my past impression was that it tends to be overly salty and sour. So when I ordered it at The Slice Shop, I had the mindset of “I can always pick it off if I don’t like it.”

Unexpectedly, this light-colored sauerkraut far exceeded my expectations. The flavor was clean and well-balanced, with distinct layers upon tasting. The spiciness from the chili oil, the gentle tang from the sauerkraut, and the creamy texture of the mayonnaise-based Russian sauce added smoothness and roundness to the overall profile. The house-made smoked beef actually became the supporting role.

“WOW” was my reaction after the first bite. If you can handle some acidity and medium spice, this Reuben Spicy Beef Pizza is definitely for you.

 

 

松阪培根鳳梨 Pizza

因為 “鳳梨” 這款食材 , 讓我遲疑要不要點這款 Pizza. 沒想到原來 The Slice Shop 的鳳梨並不是罐頭鳳梨, 而是鳳梨 Puree. 從網路得知是用台灣金鑽鳳梨熬煮的鳳梨果泥醬. 鳳梨風味甜香多過於酸香, 出乎意料地加分. “ Guanciale” 的中文是風乾豬頰肉. 這款 Pizza 的松阪豬培根是運用台灣黑毛豬 . 油脂豐厚且鹹香. 此款 Pizza 適合想品嚐創新口味的饕客.
I hesitated to order this pizza because of the word “pineapple”. Surprisingly, The Slice Shop does not use canned pineapple. Instead, they use pineapple purée. I learned online that it’s made from Taiwanese Golden Diamond pineapples, slowly cooked into a fruit purée sauce. The sweetness is more pronounced than the acidity, which is unexpectedly impressive. “Guanciale” refers to cured pork jowl. The pork jowl bacon on this pizza is made from Taiwanese black hog, rich in fat and full of savory flavor. This pizza is ideal for diners looking to try something creative and innovative.

 

 

美式臘腸 Pizza

美式臘腸 Pizza 是很少出錯的經典風味. 整齊且平均地鋪好美式臘腸也很重要.
Pepperoni pizza is a classic flavor that rarely goes wrong. Evenly and neatly layering the pepperoni makes a difference.

 

 

松露野菇森林 Pizza

Truffle Mixed Mushrooms

這款 Pizza 是小小樹食 x The Slice Shop 合作的創新風味. 並不是像普通的蘑菇 Pizza. 而是有松露奶醬與生巧克力豆與芝麻葉等食材的 Pizza. 因為芝麻葉本身微苦 , 讓生巧克力會有偏更苦的錯覺. 綜合野菇的口感或是風味皆不明顯.
This pizza is a collaboration between Little Tree Food and The Slice Shop. It is not your typical mushroom pizza. Instead, it features truffle cream sauce, chocolate bits, and arugula. Since arugula naturally has a slight bitterness, it can make the chocolate taste even more bitter. The texture and flavor of the mixed mushrooms are not particularly pronounced.
