My Humble House Restaurant is a signature Chinese restaurant at Le Méridien Taipei. It is also known for its high-end Cantonese cuisine in the Taipei Xinyi District. My friends and I found the experience exceeded expectations.

Prologue 序言
在初訪前 , 我是決定輕鬆吃隨意拍照. 用餐時, 我並不是每一道菜餚都拍. 正好主揪的朋友在幫老婆留菜, 因此我直接拍以下這張照片作為用餐紀錄. 看起來像 粵菜拼盤吧. 這次也多謝主揪的朋友用美饌卡打折.
Before my first visit, I planned to dine casually and take photos at my own pace. During the meal, I didn’t photograph every dish. I only took the photo below as a record of the meal. It almost looks like a Cantonese-style platter. Special thanks as well to the host’s friend for using a Gourmet Card to get us a discount.

寒舍食譜 地址位於台北寒舍艾美酒店的 2F. 訂位是用 tablecheck (Link). 由於媒體曝光率不高, 這裡非常好訂位. 這次要讚賞這次寒舍食譜包廂的 server , 服務態度 0 缺點, 且專業, 親切與有禮貌.
My Humble House Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Le Méridien Taipei. Reservations can be made through TableCheck (Link) . Due to its relatively low media exposure, it is quite easy to secure a booking here. The service was flawless, It is also professional, warm, and polite.

我們只預訂化皮乳豬 (整隻 ) , 其他菜餚都是現場點. 建議有美饌卡打折再去用餐.
We only reserve the whole Roasted Suckling Pig. We ordered other dishes on site. The overall price will be more friendly if you use Gourmet Card for discount.

No. 1 脆皮先知鴨
Crispy Roasted Baby Duck
Price: NTD $1880
因為本次已預訂整隻化皮乳豬 , 脆皮先知鴨僅以「一吃」形式呈現. 這次的一吃是脆皮鴨腿鴨胸切盤. 桌邊現場分切整隻鴨有視覺感. 入口的第一口,便能感受到這道料理的費工與細膩. 外皮酥脆與鴨肉鮮嫩是基本要素. 也可搭配冰梅醬. 整體不顯油膩與入味恰到好處成為當天我心目中的 No. 1 菜餚.
Since we had already pre-ordered a whole Roasted Suckling Pig, the Crispy Roasted Baby Duck was served only as a single-course platter of sliced drumsticks and breast meat.
The tableside carving of the whole duck provided a great visual experience. From the very first bite, you can feel the labor-intensive care and delicacy put into this dish. Crispy skin and tender meat are the essential elements here. It can also be paired with a sweet plum sauce. The overall flavor is perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all, making it my number one dish of the day.
No. 2 鎮江醋排骨
Stewed Ribs in Zhengjian Black Vinegar Sauce

原本以為鎮江醋排骨是像糖醋排骨的呈現方式. 每一個排骨切得方正堆疊, 如同奢華料理擺盤. 排骨外酥肉嫩 , 優質無缺點. 陳年鎮江醋與甜醋造就比預期更美味且立體的濃醇酸甜風味. 我會推薦點.
I originally thought the Zhenjiang Vinegar Ribs would be presented like typical Sweet and Sour Ribs. . However, each rib was cut into a perfect square and stacked neatly, resembling a luxury fine-dining presentation.The ribs were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which is truly flawless. The combination of aged Zhenjiang vinegar and sweet vinegar created a rich, multi-dimensional sweet and sour flavor that was even more delicious than expected. I highly recommend ordering this dish.
No. 3 鮑參肚臘味撈飯
Steamed Rice with Braised Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, and Cured Meat

原以為這道鮑參肚臘味撈飯會在廚房完成, 沒想到竟是以桌邊烹調的形式呈現. 餐廳先將全部食材端到桌上讓我們拍照, 隨後由服務人員於桌邊現場翻炒. 鮑參肚臘味撈飯是奢華且經典的粵式料理. 高級食材( 鮑魚,海參與花膠 ) 搭配傳統臘味 (臘腸 ) .風味濃郁卻不失平衡。砂鍋煮製的米飯在底部形成微微焦香的鍋巴口感,類似煲仔飯的迷人精髓。. 每一口都令人滿足.
I originally thought the Steamed Rice with Braised Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, and Cured Meat would be prepared in the kitchen. But to my surprise, it was presented with tableside service. The restaurant first brought all the ingredients to the table for us to photograph. Then the server stir-fried everything near our table.
This dish is a luxurious and classic Cantonese specialty. Premium ingredients, such as abalone, sea cucumber, and fish maw, are paired with traditional cured meats (sausage), creating a flavor that is rich yet perfectly balanced. The rice, cooked in a clay pot, develops a slightly charred and crust at the bottom. It captures the charming essence of clay pot rice. Every single bite was delicious.

化皮乳豬需要預訂. 專業刀功造就薄皮酥脆的豬皮. 由於價格偏高, 請自行斟酌有無必要點. 建議超過6人再點.
The Roasted Suckling Pig with Crispy Skin requires a pre-order. Professional knife skills result in a thin and remarkably crispy skin. It is recommended to order only if you have a group of more than 6 people.

Le Palais Signature Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow)

每家高級粵式餐廳都有自己的蝦餃皇.寒舍蝦餃皇不僅有視覺感 , 每一顆皆晶瑩飽滿. 蝦餃外層不黏口, 蝦肉內餡脆彈. 不錯吃.
Every high-end Cantonese restaurant has its own version of Shrimp Dumpling King (Har Gow). Le Palais Signature Shrimp Dumplings are not only visually appealing, but each one is also translucent and plump. The outer skin is non-sticky, and the shrimp filling is crisp and bouncy. It is quite delicious.

Deep-fried Lychee-shaped Glutinous Rice Dumplings with Pork

荔枝鹹水餃是寒舍食譜的招牌菜餚 . 餐廳運用脆口米果製成荔枝皮外型, 紅麴米與糯米粉製成的水餃皮. 鹹香軟糯值得點.
Lychee-shaped Deep-fried Glutinous Rice Dumplings are a signature dish at My Humble House. The restaurant uses crispy rice crackers to recreate the textured appearance of lychee skin. The dumpling skin itself is made from a blend of natural red yeast rice and glutinous rice flour. Filled with a savory mixture of ingredient, this soft yet chewy delicacy is definitely worth ordering.

Steamed Hokkaido Scallop Dumplings (Siu Mai)

日本北海道干貝燒賣是許多台灣人熟悉的瑤柱燒賣. 燒賣本身飽滿, 且內餡肉香充足. 置放於燒賣上的干貝絲令人印象深刻.
The Steamed Hokkaido Scallop Shumai is the same as the Dried Scallop Shumai (Yao Zhu Shumai) that many Taiwanese people are familiar with. The shumai itself is plump and the filling is rich with savory meat flavor. The shredded scallops placed on top of the shumai are truly impressive.
