其實台北市國父紀念館附近的起家雞韓國炸雞並不是第一家, 延吉街附近有第一家的起家雞. 好消息是他們接受訂位囉!
Cheogajip Korean Fried Chicken near Taipei SYS Memorial Hall MRT station is not the first branch. There is another one near Yanji Street. The good news is that they take reservation.

 

   

去骨招牌洋釀炸雞

韓式炸雞跟其他炸雞不同的地方就是會炸兩次之前會先醃製, 此步驟可讓雞肉更脆 ,肉更多汁, 起家雞的洋釀醬是蜂蜜和蔬果精華製作而成 ,因為醬汁包裹著整個雞肉, 當你吃下第一口 ,感覺就是甜但不會膩,  也還是可以吃到微脆的雞肉.
Unlike the regular fried chicken, Korean Chicken is twice-fried for extreme crispy texture on the outside and juicy, tender on the inside. Usually, chefs season the meat. However, this dish’s chicken is covered all over with their signature sauce- Yung Nyeon. This sticky red sauce was made with honey and fruit essence. When taking the first bite, your taste buds immediately feels the overwhelming sweetness. But, you can still taste the mild crispy chicken meat.

這道餐點醬汁並沒有包覆整個雞肉, 所以一咬下去就可以聽到酥脆聲, 再加上店家的特製美乃滋白醬 ,搭配起來其實比第一道菜好吃.
The difference with the first dish is that the sauce wont cover all over the chicken. And there is their special mayo sauce on the top of the dish. You can clearly see the crispy chicken skin. When Miss J took the first bite, I can actually hear the crunchy sound. I would say this dish is better than the first dish.

韓國啤酒我都已經喝過, 所以我跟朋友就選了這款水蜜桃氣泡酒 ,由於成份裡有白酒和水蜜桃濃縮汁, 我本來以為會很甜, 但搭配炸雞似乎就減少了甜度 ,是個不錯搭配炸雞的飲品.
While I was in Korea, I already tasted Korea Cass and Hite. So, I chose this peach sparkling beer to be my drink of the night! The ingredients actually shows white wine and peach syrup. Surprisely, the drink is not too sweet. The peach flavor covers parts of the Yungnyeon sauce. It is a good drink while eating fried chicken!
