Newly-opened Kyoka Suigetsu Ramen is one of the Taipei Midnight Dining restaurants near Zhongshan MRT station. It is a ramen bar, which is rare in Taipei City.

鏡花水月拉麵酒吧與”點心道“一樣皆是林森北路附近的宵夜餐廳. 餐廳位於巷弄內並不會難找, 黑紅色裝潢偏酒吧概念居多, 除了單人高腳椅酒吧區外, 也有四人座與像 KTV 包廂的沙發區. 客層與 “溫柔鄉”稍有不同, 在中午時段都是上班族, 越晚越熱鬧的宵夜時間大部分都是日本人, 酒搭配拉麵, 再與日本料理長聊天, 也許可解鄉愁吧!
Kyoka Suigetsu Ramen Bar is at the restaurant that opened late at Linsen North Road, similar with “Dim Sum Express”. The black and red color decoration is more like a bar decoration. There are single high-char seats, 4-people seats and sofa area. The target audience is a different from “The Tender Land”. During lunch hour, there are mostly office workers. However, during the late night, most customers are Japanese.

說到雞白湯拉麵, 一定會想到 “鳥人拉麵”, 近期也在台北中山區插旗. 拉麵用漏斗狀而非盆狀的碗, 實際上拉麵份量不多,但可加價加麵, 麵吃起來是我愛的硬度, 海苔與半熟蛋表現平平.
Speaking of Chicken Broth base, the first restaurant comes to mind would be the famous “Totto Ramen”. The ramen is placed at the hopper shape bowl instead of the basin shape. In fact, it doesn’t have much noodle quantity. I would suggest to add noodle for extra charge. The hard texture of the noodle is my favorite. The half-boiled egg and the seaweed are just tasted average.
由於選擇雞油份量一般, 拉麵湯頭並沒有想像中地濃稠黏口, 但雞湯風味依舊十足, 我會建議若平常喜歡豚骨拉麵的人選擇“油多”, 唯一我較不適應的是叉燒, 油脂大約佔了四分之三, 對我來說過多, 而我是那種覺得“麵屋武藏”叉燒肥瘦比例剛剛好的人.
Because I selected medium oily, the broth is not as thick as expected. But there is still fair amount of chicken oil flavor. If you like the spare-rib (pork) ramen, I would suggest you to choose the “more oily” option. My only concern is the sliced pork. I personally consider 3/4 of fats are way too much. And I am a person who consider “MENYA MUSASHI Ramen” meat percentage is perfect.
