Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡是華山文創園區附近的咖啡店, 介於善導寺捷運站六號出口與忠孝新生捷運站1號出口中間, “悄悄好食杭州舖” 剛好就在對街巷弄內, Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡限時兩小時. 因為無法訂位, 平日與週末 Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡門口總是排隊. 首先, 進店內時, 店員會安排客人到座位, 且在紙上寫座位號碼與人數 (圖一) , 請注意不是自己找位置坐, 之後再到櫃檯點咖啡. Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡一樓與二樓裝潢都不會給人網美店的感覺, 一樓的天井藝術設計, 二樓的靠窗座位, 呈現出文青俐落風. 我被安排在一樓的大長桌.
Simple Kaffa Coffee Shop is near Huashan Creative Park. The location is in between Shandoao Temple MRT station Exit 6 and Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT station Exit 1. “Ciao Ciao Good Food Scone Shop” is also nearby. There are always lots of people lining up during weekday and weekend at the coffee shop since they don’t take reservation. Their limited dine-in time is 2 hours. While entering the coffee shop, their staff would take you to your seat. And they will write down your table number (Pic 1). Please note that you don’t just walk in and find a place to sit. After seating, you would need to go to the counter to order coffee. The indoor design of 1st and 2nd floor are full of chic elements. I was seated at the 1st floor long table.

Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡的老闆吳則霖 (Berg Wu) 代表台灣參加世界冠軍咖啡師大賽(WBC，World Barista Championship)，在2016年拿下世界冠軍, 建立起自己的專業形象和名聲. 在時間考量下 (當天我只有一小時的時間), 我放棄點手沖咖啡, 而選擇點拿鐵. Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡的拿鐵並不會苦澀, 而是隱約帶有些許堅果香, 奶泡扎實, 我個人覺得花 NTD $170 喝一次是值得. 我必須說我很驚訝 Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡 並沒有像 “The Normal Coffee” 一樣有燕麥拿鐵. 如果下次我經過, 沒有人排隊時, 我應該會進去點中深焙手沖咖啡.
Simple Kaffa owner Mr. Berg Wu is also a barista that won the champion at World Barista Championship (WBC). He builds up his professional image. Since I only have one hour to spare, I decide to order Latte instead of their signature pour-in coffee items. Simple Kaffa Latte is not bitter but with fair amount of nutty flavor. The foam is thick and perfect. It is worth to spend NTD $170 to drink one time. However, I am surprised that Simple Kaffa doesn’t offer oat milk Latte like at “The Normal Coffee”. If I revisit again, I would order their pour-in coffee for sure.

Simple Kaffa 興波咖啡的招牌甜點有 – 皺皺 (半熟蜂蜜蛋糕), 抹茶捲, 和 四種酒提拉米蘇. 店員說四種酒包括威士忌, 蘭姆酒,奶酒及卡魯哇咖啡酒而製成, 上次吃到令人滿意的提拉米蘇是在“天母微巷義大利餐廳“ , 第一口酒香明顯但不會過重, 乳白色的 Mascarpone Cheese 緩衝了咖啡蛋糕與巧克力粉的經典苦味, 勾勒出這道令人滿意的大人型甜點. 我下次應該會點皺皺 (半熟蜂蜜蛋糕).
Simple Kaffa signature dessert dishes include honey cake, green tea cake roll and Tiramisu. The staff mentioned that the tiramisu ingredients include whiskey, rum, baileys, and kahlua liqueur. Last time, I tasted satisfied tiramisu was at “Vicolo Trattoria Restaurant at Tianmu”. The first bite of tiramisu has fair amount of comforting alcohol flavor. The mascarpone cheese covers the classic bitter flavor from the coffee cake body and chocolate powder. Overall, this tiramisu is quite tasty and satisfying. I would order the honey cake next time.
