台北千壽是少數有日式庭園與榻榻米包廂的日本餐廳, 預約制的 千壽 2021 年三月開放讓「 非千壽會員 」訂位, 千壽午間套餐價位更是讓人覺得親切.
Senju Japanese Restaurant is one of few restaurants that has Japanese style backyard and Tatami private dining rooms. Recently, Senju Taipei announced to accept non-member to reserve seats.

Where is Senju Taipei’s Front Door?
千壽日本料理餐廳離忠孝敦化捷運站三號出口與國父紀念館二號出口大約 10 ~ 15 分鐘路程, 千壽地址是在台北市大安區忠孝東路四段216巷27弄17號, 看到的會是餐廳的日式庭院, 實際上的大門是在有 “Draft Land” 的巷弄裡, 更準確的千壽大門位置則是在 Creation 店家的正對面 [台北市大安區忠孝東路四段248巷19號] (圖三), 可看到低調無招牌的灰色大門, 只需按電鈴即可會有店員開門.
Senju Taipei is about 10 ~ 15 minutes walking distance from Zhongxiao Dunhuan MRT station Exit 3 and SYS Memorial Hall MRT station Exit 2. The address of Senju restaurant is at No. 17, 27th Alley, 216th Lane,4 section, Zhouxiao East Road, Da’an District, Taipei City. You would only see the Japanese Style Backyard. The actual front door is at right cross the “Creation Store” (Pic 3) [Address: No. 19, 248th Lane, 4the Section, Zhongxiao East Road]. You can see Senju’s actual door is grey color without any sign. You would need to ring the bell for the staff to open the door.

千壽訂位方式需要照他們的 Facebook 貼文方式 ( https://www.facebook.com/senjutaipei ) . 目前是用 inline 預約 ( https://reurl.cc/MZgKZ4 ) 預約制的千壽日本料理餐廳之前是採用「 會員制 」, 而且是只收一千名會員, 在 2020年有休息一陣子, 2021 年三月重新開幕後, 開放讓「 非千壽會員 」訂位, 這對許多想吃日料卻無會員的饕客是一個好消息, 目前千壽尚未宣布何時會恢復會員制, 所以趕緊先訂位, 消費後成為會員, 就不用擔心以後無法訂位. 台北東區停車不容易, 我個人是比較建議搭大眾運輸工具, 但是我還是找了餐廳附近的停車場圖片給你們.
You would need to follow their reservation SOP on their social media ( https://www.facebook.com/senjutaipei ) . Now they use inline reservation system ( Link:https://reurl.cc/MZgKZ4 ) Senju restaurant only takes reservations, which means you cannot just walk-in. Long ago, Senju Taipei reservation is only for its 1000 members. They closed down for a while at 2020. Now at March, 2021, Senju Taipei now can accept reservation from non-member. And after dining, you can become their members. Senju not yet decide to re-establish the member policy. So, now at this moment, it is a great news for Foodies. It is not easy to park at Taipei East District. I would still suggest to take public transportation. But, I still find the nearby parking lot location for you.

Senju Taipei Private Dining Rooms
板前大約十位, 千壽榻榻米包廂則是有四個, 很特別的是小包廂可以是兩人, 與 “雞湯“的2人小包廂相似, 我跟朋友是在大包廂用餐 (圖二來源: 千壽), 可從大包廂看到愜意的日式庭院, 完全就是浮生半日閒的概念. 四至六人我會建議大包廂,包廂低消請直接詢問餐廳.
Itamae (in front of the board) is about 10 seats. There are 4 Senju private rooms with tatami. The most special part would be that there are 2-people private dining room, just like at “G-Woo Restaurant”. My friend and I dined at the large private dining room, which is suitable for 4 ~ 6 people. (Pic 2 from Senju ). You would need to ask restaurant about the minimum charge.

千壽最有名的鰻魚飯只有午間提供, 大的鰻魚飯 (NTD $850) 是三片鰻魚, 小的鰻魚飯 (NTD $700) 是兩片鰻魚. 主廚是採用台灣大型黑鰻 (圖五), 運送到餐廳時是活鰻, 細心地進行挑刺, 再關東方式先蒸後烤, 並不會像 “板前屋” 有煙味, 我必須說, 千壽的鰻魚厚度 比 “魚庒” 與 “岡心”都還要厚, 外表滋潤油亮, 吃起來軟嫩度非常高, 店員解說抹在鰻魚上的是千壽特製醬汁, 鰻魚骨頭烘乾, 再熬煮成醬汁, 搭配油脂讓食慾大開, 也可一口飯佐一口鰻魚肉, 再與山椒, 青蔥一起入口, 微辛香挑逗著味蕾, 最重要的是千壽鰻魚飯無刺, 我個人很推薦!
The famous Senju Eel Rice is only offered during Lunch Time. Large Eel Rice (NTD $850) has three slices of eels. Small Eel Rice has 2 slices of eels, which is NTD $700. The chef uses Taiwanese large black eel (Pic 5), which is delivered with fresh and alive condition. The chefs pick the eel bones carefully. The thickness level of the eel meat is even higher than “Una Okashin” and “Unagi Osho Restaurant”. It is extremely tender and delicious along with their custom-made sauce, which is stewed with dried eel bones. You can pair the eel meat, rice,Japanese pepper, and green onions. The most important part would be the eel does not have any fish bone. Overall, it is very delicious. I would definitely recommend the eel rice.
Sukiyaki with Wagyu Beef

這款涮涮和牛壽喜燒丼只有午間提供, 整道涮和牛壽喜燒丼代表著正統和風美饌.千壽主廚用的肉品是宮崎A5和牛肋眼部位, 油花如同雪花般細密分佈在三分熟肉品上, 豐潤誘人, 展現出日本和牛油脂豐富的經典特色, 吃起來非常軟潤滑柔, 最特別的莫過於蛋打成細緻蛋黃慕斯泡沫狀,與之前吃到的壽喜燒是不同等級與經驗, 和牛也可搭配蛋絲, 飯比較特別, 是醋飯, 我個人比較吃不習慣.
This particular Sukiyaki with Wagyu Beef is only offered during lunch time. The chef uses Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Rib eye steak. The marble mark indicates large amount of fats, which is the classic character of Japanese Wagyu Beef. The traditional way to taste is to dip the wagyu beef into the egg mousse with sukiyaki sauce to eat. The rice is sushi rice, which has small amount of acidity. The overall tasting experience is quite delightful.

“Ukai 日式割烹料理”午餐時段是搭配紅味噌湯, 千壽午間套餐則是搭配白味噌湯, 湯鮮味濃, 都不錯喝, 百香果慕斯的細緻程度極像奶酪, 請注意配菜不定期更換.
“Ukai Japanese Restaurant” lunch set soup is red miso soup. Senju lunch set is white miso soup. Both are delicious. The passion fruit mousse tastes quite silky like Panna Cotta. Please note that their side dishes might change.
現在千壽是可讓”非會員訂位”, 這很重要, 因爲訂位靠自己, 消費後即可成爲會員,會需要填會員卡. 目前尚未知道何時會恢復會員only制度. 此外, 千壽改成雙主廚, 一位負責生食, 另一位負責熟食, 與以前經營模式不太相同, 千壽日本料裡餐廳是除了星期二公休外, 其他時間連週六與週日都有午間套餐. 晚上則是無菜單. 因為我個人只吃過午間套餐菜單上的兩款, 我個人最推薦午間限定的千壽鰻魚飯.
Even you are not their member, you can still reserve seats, which is a great opportunity. You would never know when the member-only policy will be re-established. Now, Senju Taipei restaurants has two executive chefs, one is responsible for raw food and one is for cooked items. Besides Tuesday off-day, Senju Japanese restaurant offers lunch set, even for Saturday and Sunday. The dinner would be Chef’s Tasting Menu (OMAKASE) . Since I only tasted the lunch set, I would like to recommend their lunch special – Senju Eel Rice.
