Long Wall 長春藤法式餐廳是東門捷運站餐廳之一, 在台北永康商圈已經超過30年以上.
Long Wall French Restaurant is one of the restaurants near Dongmen MRT station. It has been at Yongkang Street for over 30 years now.

餐廳位置在東門捷運站五號出口附近的巷弄內, 只需走三分鐘, 並不像”五味瓶 C’est la vie Bistro” 需要走很遠, 室外綠色盆栽和不起眼餐廳招牌讓許多人摸不著頭緒. 餐廳室內裝潢中規中矩, 有著深褐色牆壁與白色桌布. 店內只有老闆和老闆娘兩人.
The restaurant is located at the alley near Dolmen MRT station Exit 5. It would only take 3 minutes or less walking, which is different from “C’est la vie Bistro”. Many people don’t know this is a restaurant since there are many green plants on the outside of the restaurant. The inner design is simply, with dark brown wall and white table cloth. There are only two people in the restaurant -one is the boss (also the chef), and his wife (as server).

兩側有自助沙拉吧, 新鮮芽菜是店家種植, 也有相當多沙拉醬料選擇 (例如千島醬和油醋醬) , 馬鈴薯紮實且用簡單黑胡椒調味, 醃漬無刺小魚的鹽味搭配清脆蘿蔓萵苣恰到好處, 沙拉吧也包括水果與甜點, 若是吃一輪, 應該可以五分飽, Long Wall 長春藤法式餐廳的沙拉吧相當適合愛吃蔬菜與水果的人.
There are two salad bars at the seating area. Some of the vegetables are grown by the boss. There are many different types of salad dressings. I only select a few side dishes fro my simply salad. The potato is dense with only a few black peppers. The small fish is salty, but pairs great with the crisp romaine lettuce. The salad bar also has fruits and dessert. Their salad bar is suitable for people that love fresh produces.

這款佛卡夏麵包樸實, 並沒有多餘香料或是橄欖油調味料, 溫熱微脆表皮, 可惜的是麵包體過乾, 建議等湯品上桌再沾湯吃.
Focaccia is without any spices/flavoring nor olive oil. The appearance is warm and crispy. But sadly, the bread is overly too dry. I would suggest to wait until the soup in order to dip in.

Fish Soup

這道湯品剛端上來時, 因為顏色是淺褐色, 我以為是跟 “A Cut Steakhouse” ㄧ樣的蘑菇湯, 仔細一看是微濃稠湯裡有少許魚肉,菌菇和青豆, 魚肉相當鮮美且軟嫩, 間接讓湯品以鮮美海鮮風味為主軸, 整體不會過鹹, 青豆帶來不同的口感, 但是每天例湯不一樣, 下次去可能就沒幸運.
I thought the soup is mushroom soup, like in “A Cut Steakhouse”. It is actually fish soup, with small amount of fish meats, mushrooms and green beans. The fish meat is tender, which brings delicious seafood flavor to the soup. The soup is not overly too salty. The green bean also brings different texture. However, the soup might change daily. It might be difficult to get the same soup next time.
油封鴨腿

上次在 “Chou Chou 法式料理餐廳”吃到的油封鴨腿我不是很愛, 主因是放在鴨腿下的白豆泥奪走主角鴨腿的酥脆口感. Long Wall 長春藤法式餐廳的主廚只用自製醬料灑在油封鴨腿上, 鴨腿油脂多, 但不失經典脆度和焦香, 肉並不會乾柴,這道料理的醬料相當特別, 老闆也不藏私地告知醬料是蜂蜜, 柳橙汁, 百里香, 迷迭香和橄欖油調配而成, 鴨肉搭配醬料反而口感清爽, 也隱約帶有點橘香. 這就是醬料是一道料理的靈魂最佳寫照.
I wasn’t found into “Chou Chou French Restaurant” ’s confit duck last time since the bean paste covers the crispness of the duck leg. However, Long Wall French Restaurant’s chef only use the small amount of self-made sauce to drizzle on the top. The chef mentioned that the sauce is made with honey, orange juice, thyme rosemary and olive oil. The duck meat becomes more refreshing and carries small amount of orange aroma. This is the best example of “sauce is the soul of the dish”.

餐廳只有簡單黑咖啡或是紅茶, 並沒有 “Bagel Bagel Cafe & Bar” 的唐寧茶選擇, 這是較可惜的地方. 關於價格方面, 長輩們會覺得超值, 因為有沙拉吧吃到飽, 但是我比較偏愛 “Chou Chou 法式料理餐廳”, 因為商業午餐一樣是 NTD $880, Chou Chou 從前菜到甜點算是比較精彩.
The restaurant only has black coffee or black tea. However, it doesn’t have the famous Twinnings tea selection like “Bagel Bagel Cafe Bar”. As for the price, the elders might consider it cheap since there is all-u-can-eat salad. But I personally prefer “Chou Chou French Restaurant” since its business lunch is also NTD $880. But Chou Chou has more options from appetizer to dessert.
