國父紀念館捷運附近的餐酒館又征服了一家 – La Piola Cucina Italiana 義大利餐廳, 老闆則是來自義大利, 專攻北義料理, 考驗台北上班族對於正統異國美食的接受度.
I tried another Bistro, which is La Piola Cucina Italiana, near SYS Memorial Hall MRT station. The owner is Italian and focuses mostly on Northern Italian cuisine.

室內裝潢跟之前位於同樣地址的Botega Del Vin完全一樣, 若DOMANI義式餐廳適合約會, El Maques Tapas Bar適合朋友聚會, La Piola Cucina Italiana 義大利餐廳則較適合公司帶客人商業聚餐.
The interior design is exactly the same as previous store, which is Botega Del Vin. If DOMANI Italian restaurant is for dating and El Maques Tapas Bar is for friends’ gathering, La Piola Cucina Italiana would be for business meetings.
原本想要品嚐他們的商業午餐, 服務生告知每天商業午餐都不一樣看當天食材, 後來還是決定點固定菜單上的餐點. 詳讀Menu後, 發現“共享美食開胃菜”皆是兩人份, 且單價皆超過NTD$560以上. 主餐的部分最便宜為NTD$440, 原本想點“義式手工馬鈴薯與甜菜根麵疙瘩”, 但由於對“甜菜根”不熟悉而作罷, 於是點了北義傳統的“手工寬蛋麵搭波隆那肉醬”.
I was going to try their daily lunch, which is different everyday based on daily ingredients. But, I still chose the dish from the regular menu. As for the appetizer menu, all dishes are for party of two and all charge above NTD$560. So, I chose the simplest dish – Homemade pasta with pork & beef meat sauce.

手工寬蛋麵照傳統做法是不加橄欖油, 而是只用麵粉與蛋, 蛋所含的脂肪能使麵糰變得更細緻, 蛋白質則是讓麵條較結實, 寬蛋麵配濃稠肉醬是才是傳統的搭配方式, 而非大家印象中的細義大利麵配肉醬.
The traditional method to make Tagliatelle is to use only flour and egg. The fatness in the egg would transfer the flour in smooth texture. The function of the protein is to thicken the pasta’s texture. Unlike most Taiwanese’s impression, the traditional thick bolognese meaty sauce is meant for pairing with Tagliatelle instead of spaghetti.
菜餚端上桌時, 偏橘紅色的肉醬十分迷人, 先品嚐麵條原本的口味, 如預期中口感扎實, 比市售義大利麵更有嚼勁. 視覺上比寬扁麵(Fettuccine)寬, 手工寬蛋麵吸收了不少傳統的綜合牛肉與豬肉醬, 以番茄風味主導. 整體上是一道美味且充滿肉味的料理. 個人觀點是NTD$460其實有點空虛, 但畢竟是傳統料理, 需要忠於原始的配方.
The mixed orange and red meat sauce would increase customers’ appetite. The tagliatelle’s texture is dense as expected. The tagliatelle, which is thicker than fettuccine, absorbs more mixed ground pork and beef sauce. The tomato sauce dominates this dish. Generally speaking, this dish is delicious and full of meaty aroma. However, in my personal opinion, NTD $460 should have more portion or more ingredients. But, there is no need to alter its original recipe since this is a traditional dish.

服務生提到廚師每天早上都會來做麵包, 每天的麵包皆不相同, 當天的麵包則是常見的硬式麵包與洋蔥麵包, 洋蔥麵包搭配橄欖油與巴薩米克醬別有風味. 但是我還是比較喜歡 La Mole Taipei 的麵包.
The waiter mentioned that the pastry chef comes every morning to make bread, which may vary daily. The onion bread pairs well with EVOO and Balsamic sauce. I still prefer La Mole Taipei‘s Bread.
