在台北東區經營16年的波記港式茶餐廳於2019年重新裝潢, 重現復古 70 年代港式茶餐廳的用餐氛圍. 這次有這個榮幸品嚐道多款波記招牌料理!
Bokey HK Restaurant has been operated at Taipei East District for 16 years. Recently, the restaurant is remodeled and shows traditional 70s Hong Kong dining environment.

波記茶餐廳介於忠孝敦化捷運站二號出口 (Zara) 和國父紀念館捷運站1號出口 (華視), 波記茶餐廳外部裝潢古色古香, 很容易辨認, 與南京復興站的 “布咕咖啡”一樣有戶外座位, 當天用餐時間有飄雨, 餐廳幾乎九分滿, 很難想像如果是晴天, 應該是需要候位.
Bokey HK Restaurant is located between Exit 2 of Zhongxiao Dunhua and SYS Memorial Hall MRT Station Exit 1. Bokey HK restaurant outdoor is with traditional Chinese decoration. It has the outdoor seats just like at “Boogoo Cafe”. It was raining during dining time, and the restaurant was almost full. It is not difficult to imagine the crowded restaurant during non-rainy day.

踏進波記茶餐廳內, 耳邊聽到此起彼落的喧嘩聊天聲, 映入眼簾是香港街景照片和復古香港大戲院裝潢, 我看到詠春正宗的匾額更是會心一笑, 秉持呈現道地港式風情,  不同於 “点心道” 和其他台北港式餐廳, 波記茶餐廳選擇鮮綠色牆壁裝潢, 整體用餐氛圍緊繃卻又熱鬧. 值得一提的是波記茶餐廳老闆葉宗澄, 餐飲界尊稱 “波哥 Bokey”, 他算是半個香港人, 在台北市提到茶餐廳和港式火鍋, 幾乎都會聯想到他, 波記茶餐廳可以算是波哥的成名之作!
Hong Kong street views and traditional Cantonese theater picture shows the 70s Hong Kong environment. Unlike “Dim Sum Express”, Bokey HK Restaurant chose green wall as the main color. The overall dining environment is intense but yet crowed with noisy sound. Bokey HK Restaurant owner/chef Mr. Bokey Yeh has been a legendary character in Taiwan HK restaurant industry. As half Cantonese, Mr. Bokey Yeh knows his selling points – traditional Hong Kong restaurant and Cantonese Hong Kong Hot Pot. Bokey HK Restaurant is his one of his successful works!

XO 醬無敵海鮮炒蘿蔔糕

波記茶餐廳菜單上有一些其他港式餐廳 (例如: “雅苑” )所沒有的餐點, 例如 打邊爐麻辣魚蛋餐肉公仔麵和印度咖哩飯之類, 主廚波哥也發揮巧思將蘿蔔糕與XO 醬和少許海鮮搭配成為一道菜, 讓蘿蔔糕菜餚不再單調. XO醬的微辛辣時不時在品嚐時探出頭來,油量外表的蘿蔔糕主角並沒有過於支離破碎, 口感軟綿,  海鮮配角則是脆度高的魷魚和花枝, 不喧賓奪主, 視覺與風味皆是一道很下飯的重口味料理, 建議點飯來搭配.
Bokey HK Restaurant’s menu items are a bit different from other traditional HK dim sum restaurant (For example: “Ya Yuen Cantonese Restaurant”). Mala HK Ramen with various ingredients and Indian Curry Rice are surprisingly on the menu. Chef Bokey stir-fried the world-famous radish cake along with the seafood and HK XO sauce. The spicy flavor from the XO Sauce sometimes stimulates the tastebuds. The squid pieces are crispy and radish cakes remain in shape. This dish has fair amount of salt, which would be better to pair with rice.

炸奶皇包

Fried Egg Custard Bun
Price: NTD $90

這道酥炸奶黃包我好像只有在位於香港的港式餐廳看到過, 沒想到今天會在波記茶餐廳看到, 外型就像不同造型的銀絲卷, 撥開後, 看到少許熱騰騰內餡, 一口咬下, 酥脆口感搭配甜過於鹹的風味, 若是平常沒有機會吃到銀絲卷或是奶黃包, 可點來試試.
I remembered that I saw this dish at restaurants that are located at Hong Kong. I didn’t recall that I see this dish at Taiwan Cantonese Restaurant. The appearance looks like the traditional dish – Deep Fry Flour Bun. The egg custard filling combines both salty and sweetness. If you don’t have much chance to eat the deep fry flour bun or egg custard bun, I would suggest to order this dish to fulfill your craving.

 

招牌XO 醬炒公仔麵

Stir-Fried Ramen with Hong Kong XO Sauce
Price: NTD $165

炒公仔麵號稱全球知名的香港國民美食之ㄧ, 就像台灣鹽酥雞通常都是台灣宵夜首選. 波記茶餐廳理所當然要放在菜單上, 蔥花與蝦仁搭配炒公仔麵, 份量不多無法填飽肚子, 建議再點其他菜餚搭配, XO 醬均勻攪拌勾勒出經典鹹味, 吃起來滿嘴鹹香, 也建議點杯港式飲料來搭配.
Surpringly, Stir-Fried Ramen is one of the world-famous traditional and price-friendly dishes at Hong Kong. Just like Taiwan herb salty chicken is one of the top options for late night snack. Fair amounts of green onion along with small shrimps pairs well with the small quantity ramen. However, I would suggest to order other dishes to pair with the ramen dish. Or, you can order a drink to pair with this salty dish.

 

冰火菠蘿油

Cantonese Pineapple Bun
Price: NTD $55

上次吃冰火菠蘿油是在信義新光三越的”檀島香港茶餐廳 Honolulu Cafe“, 那時檀島冰火菠蘿油是 NTD $50, 小型菠蘿包夾著一片很薄的火腿片與奶油, 這次波記茶餐廳是中型菠蘿包夾著頗厚的火腿片,起司和厚奶油, 價格 NTD $55, 光是視覺就贏檀島. 一大口咬下, 奶油由夾層流出, 搭配火腿片與如同丹麥菠蘿的酥脆外皮, 充滿港式元素, 應該可以擄獲喜好冰火菠蘿油的人.此外, 波記茶餐廳週一至週五 2pm ~ 5pm 有提供多項簡單套餐, 冰火菠蘿油搭配任選飲料目前是 NTD $120.
Last time I ate Cantonese pineapple bun is at “Honolulu Cafe” at Xinyi District. During the time, the price is NTD $50 with small pineapple bun and thin sliced of ham. But, Bokey HK Restaurant is a medium size pineapple bun with thick sliced of ham. Booked HK Restaurant’s price is NTD $55, which is quite reasonable. The butter melts down into the bun and ham. If you like Cantonese Pineapple Bun, you would probably like this dish. The restaurant offers sets during 2pm ~ 5pm (Monday ~ Friday). You can order Cantonese Pineapple Bun with drink is NTD $120.

港式凍檸茶

Cantonese Lemon Black Tea
Price: NTD $85
Foodelicious 美味程度: 👍👍👍

看似濃郁, 由於冰塊稀釋經典凍檸茶的酸, 比較可惜.
This drink seemed to have heavy flavor of black tea. However, the ice melts down to decrease the classic acidity of this famous drink.

 

臘味排骨蒸飯

BBQ Pork and Ribs Steamed Rice
Price: NTD $165
Foodelicious 美味程度: 👍👍👍

粉蒸排骨和燒臘佈滿整道菜餚, 飯吃起來為軟綿, 而不是鍋巴類型, 臘味和排骨偏硬但是夠味.
The ribs and BBQ pork fully cover the rice. The rice tastes mushy instead of the dry texture. The BBQ Pork and ribs are in hard texture but with enough flavor.

 

 

今日例湯 – 海帶芽排骨湯

Daily Soup- Seaweed Ribs Soup
Price: NTD $90
Foodelicious 美味程度: 👍👍👍

份量不多, 但一人喝是足夠, 排骨的肉香與風味帶進海帶湯裡, 湯內也有小干貝, 揉合所有食材, 不會過於單調.
There isn’t much quantity for enough for one person. The ribs meaty flavor pairs well with the seaweed soup. There is also one tiny scallop in the soup as well.
